1854, Neil Robson The St Andrew`s Suspension Bridge over the River Clyde is a grand pedestrian link between Glasgow Green and Hutchesontown. With its fluted cast-iron Corinthian columns, it seems to typify Victorian architecture in Glasgow as even a mundane pedestrian bridge is used to show off the engineering talents of the architect and builders.
